2007年7月，金融系陈秉正教授出席了在台北举办的第十一届亚太地区风险管理与保险协会(Asia Pacific Risk and Insurrance Association)年会，在会上作了报告；其研究成果“Measuring the Impact of Mortality Risk on the Pricing of Life Insurance Products”被收录论文集。8月，陈教授再次应邀出席美国风险管理与保险协会(American Risk and Insurance Association)年会，并在会上发表讲话。
