To predict the future, you need to understand the past. HUANG Zhangkai, associate professor in the department of finance at Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, will discuss some of China's unique institutions by digging out their historical roots and try to explain China's seemingly incomprehensible policies.
Professor HUANG holds his PhD from University of Oxford. He is doing research in Chinese economy, financial markets, and economic history. His research appears in leading international journals like American Economic Review.
