Tsinghua SEM held a Beijing alumni day on January 15, 2011 at Intercontinental Beijing Beichen. Over 700 audience, including alumni and guests from a range of areas, took part in the event. Nine members of the Dean’s Council of SEM attended the meeting.
At the alumni day event
The event was a continuation of the Shanghai Yangtze River Delta alumni day held on October 30, 2010, after which the alumni day had become a regular event of the School, aiming to bring most updated information on SEM’s development to alumni while providing a platform of constant communication.
Dean QIAN Yingyi reporting development of SEM
Dean QIAN Yingyi made a development report to the audience, elaborating on the faculty and stuff composition, the enrollment record of programs, the advancement in international collaboration, the educational reforms, student activities, and the recent IT project of the School. He encouraged alumni to continue contributing their wisdom and supports for SEM.
