The competition, like in previous years, is managed through an online factory simulator system. In the 72-hour competition period, each participating team has to deal with one year of virtual factory operation. Starting set (funds, inventory, machines) are the same for each team, who shall develop strategies and take timely actions to optimize operation and to deal with fluctuations in the virtual market. The final ranking was decided by the teams' cash balance.
