With the theme of “Innovative Leadership”, the study trip included the teaching by senior faculty from Stanford University. Seminars topics included “American Economy Outlook”, “Innovation and Trend of Silicon Valley”, “Emergence of E-commerce and its Influence on Global Value Chains”. The participants also visited nine companies including Uber, Facebook, Tesla and Apple, discussing the current operation situation and future planning with the companies’ senior management teams. Professor QIAN Yingyi, Dean of Tsinghua SEM, also gave a lecture on the topic of Understanding the "New Normal” for Tsinghua EMBA students and alumni in Stanford University.
