During the one-week study, SSM organized several new courses, such as “Disciplined Entrepreneurship”, “Rethinking Marketing” and “From One to Over One Million Scaling University Innovation Into Impact” etc. Tours to Genzyme Center and Cambridge Innovation Center were also arranged, giving Tsinghua EMBA students the opportunity to communicate with these companies’ executives. Moreover, Dick Schmalensee, former dean of SSM, gave a lecture on the topic of “Political and Economic Challenges Confronting America”. At the end of the study trip, Peter Hirst, Executive Director of SSM, and Professor John Akula, Academic Director, awarded students certificates and took photos as a memento.
